The highest temperature ever reliably recorded on Earth was 56.7 degrees Celsius (134 degrees Fahrenheit), which was measured on July 10, 1913, in Death Valley, California, United States. This record-breaking temperature was measured at Greenland Ranch, which is now known as Furnace Creek Ranch.
