Distance Calculator

Click two points to measure the shortest path between them on Earth’s surface – that’s great-circle distance. Results in kilometers and miles.

The red line shows the direct path (not road distance – this is straight-line “as the crow flies” measurement).

FAQ

How accurate is this? Uses the Haversine formula with Earth’s mean radius. Accurate for great-circle calculations.

Why doesn’t this match driving/road distances? It measures direct surface distance, not routes. For road distances, you’ll need routing software.
