A new study reveals the most popular brands across the UK and Europe

When it comes to brands, they often resonate with consumers beyond their products –we can feel they reflect our values, lifestyle, and even our personality. So, which brands are the most popular across Europe?
Across Europe, Apple was unsurprisingly revealed as the most loved tech brand, with BMW ranking as Europe’s favorite automotive brand. In the fashion market, Dior took the top spot, while Europe could not get enough of the Maybelline when it came to beauty.

To discover this, British electronics retailer Ebuyer used the social listening tool Linkfluence, which crawls data on mentions across the internet from the past 12 months to find the most popular tech, fashion, automotive, or beauty brands in each European country.
Based on the data, here is Europe’s favorite leading brand.

Apple is revealed as Europe’s most popular tech brand
Based on social data, Apple doesn’t disappoint on this front and is revealed as the most popular tech brand in Europe. Thirteen of the twenty-eight nations analyzed favor Apple as their favorite tech brand.
Other popular tech corporations include Google and Tesla, which appear three times as the top choice for some countries, but Apple dwarves their number of top spots considerably.
Dior struts ahead as Europe’s most popular fashion brand
According to social data, despite the close-run race, French luxury fashion enterprise Dior takes the highest spot, ranking as the most popular fashion choice for seven nations. H&M comes in a close second, with six, while other well-known brands such as Zara, Nike, and Adidas also make a list in varying numbers.
Europe can’t get enough of Maybelline
With the social media love of nine nations, Maybelline steals the first spot from the rest of the competition. Much like Apple’s tech dominance, other popular beauty brands don’t come close to Maybelline; L’OREAL Paris and Mac are the following most popular brands, with four countries apiece, while the remaining nations all find a range of brands as their desired option.
BMW races ahead as Europe’s most popular automotive brand
Unsurprisingly, with their rich history of car development, the German companies BMW and Mercedes dominate the top spot as the most popular brands across Europe. BMW is the most popular, being preferred by nine of the countries we analyzed, but Mercedes follows close behind with six.
