The Social Progress Index ranks the degree to which nations provide for the social and environmental requirements of their residents. Hundreds of possible indicators in the sectors of essential social needs, foundations of well-being, and opportunity to progress show the relative achievement of countries, including health, safety, sanitation, equality, inclusion, sustainability, and freedom.
