National net wealth is the total amount of the value of a nation’s assets minus its debts. It refers to the total value of net wealth owned by a nation’s residents at a set point in time. National net wealth is a significant indicator of a nation’s capability to take on debt and support spending. It is affected not only by real estate prices, investment market prices, exchange rates, and mortgages in a country of a grown-up population but also by human and natural resources, capital, and technological improvements.

asic history question..
How did the US become so wealthy?
(mostly) unfettered growth and a can-do culture of innovation?
Post-WWII reconstruction (i.e., only nation left standing). Also, the war itself was an economic boom for the U.S.
