Most Americans are subjected to twice-yearly clock changes-thus social media sites are subjected to twice-yearly whinefests about how Daylight Saving Time should be abolished. Would your day really be better without it? Are you even complaining about the right thing? Depends how much of a morning person you are, and where you live.
DST does not affect total daylight hours, of course, but rather simply shifts sunrise and sunset times relative to our clocks. People suddenly find themselves having to wake up in darkness, or watch in horror as the sun sets in mid-afternoon. But how many bad days like that are there?
