Global Peace Index measures the relative position of nations and regions peacefulness.

The Global Peace Index gauges global peace using 3 broad themes: the level of societal safety and security, the extent of ongoing domestic and international conflict and the degree of militarization

The most peaceful countries: Iceland, Austria, Denmark, New Zealand, and Portugal.
The least peaceful countries: Iraq, Afghanistan, South Sudan, and Yemen.
