Americans see Europeans variously depending on the values they hold most dear. However, every European country has something special that Americans know. Nevertheless, Americans can name things that are peculiar to this particular European country.

Many Americans know Western European countries well, which is not the case for Eastern European countries. Eastern Europeans are bound to be mistaken for Russians, as Europe’s map between Berlin and Moscow is terra incognita for most Americans.
