U.S. presidents have been born in various regions of the United States, but there are a few regions that have been more predominant.

Several presidents were born in the New England region, which includes the states of Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. This region includes the birthplaces of John Adams, John Quincy Adams, John F. Kennedy, Calvin Coolidge, and Franklin Pierce.

The Mid-Atlantic region, consisting of states like New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, has also seen the birth of several presidents. Presidents such as Theodore Roosevelt, Woodrow Wilson, Martin Van Buren, and James Buchanan were born in this region.

The Southern states of the United States have also produced a significant number of presidents. Virginia, in particular, has been the birthplace of many presidents, including George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, James Monroe, and John Tyler. Other Southern states like North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, Kentucky, and Arkansas have also contributed to the birthplaces of presidents.

The Midwest region of the United States has seen the birth of several presidents as well. States like Ohio, Illinois, and Iowa have been the birthplaces of presidents such as Ulysses S. Grant, Rutherford B. Hayes, William McKinley, Herbert Hoover, and Barack Obama.

Presidents have also been born in various other regions across the country. For example, Donald Trump was born in New York, Ronald Reagan in Illinois, and Jimmy Carter in Georgia. Additionally, some presidents were born in regions that were not part of the United States at the time of their birth, such as Hawaii (Barack Obama) and the Panama Canal Zone (John McCain).
