Eye colour of European Heads of State

Blue seems to still be in the minority for the average European citizen, but it seems that about half of heads of state have blue eyes. Maybe because we attribute some kind of mysticism or natural ability to lead to blue eyes as they’re unique. I don’t know, just a thought. Source for eye color in Western Europe turns out this correlates decently well with the majority.
Despite immigration from extra-European countries in the last decades, where most eyes would be brown, leaders in Europe are still largely descended from European stock, and mostly ethnically representative of their country (except monarchs, funnily enough, considering nobles from different countries around Europe intermarried).
