Americans are mostly dependent on the car. More than 150 million workers, that’s at least 120 million vehicles, appear on U.S. streets every day. 73% of U.S. commuters use their vehicles to move home and jobs. Only 13% of the 7,649 respondents use public transport, and only 11% take the bike.
